Renault X62 Master: fuel filter strap could break
In January 2018, a recall was issued Renault X62 Master vehicles because the fuel filter strap could break. If this occurred, there may be an irregular noise in the engine compartment and, in extreme cases, fuel could leak and pose a fire hazard. For the VINs of the recalled Renault X62 Master vehicles, please see PRA 2018/16564.
2016-17 Renault X62 Master: loss of steering
In March 2018, recall 0CTQ was issued for Renault X62 Master vehicles that were available for sale in Australia from 12 May 2016 to 26 June 2017. In these vehicles, the steering column clevis nut on the steering rack tail may not have been tightened to the correct specifications – this could lead to a loss of steering, thereby increasing the risk of a collision. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see PRA 2018/16703.

In June 2021, recall campaign 0DHB was issued for Renault X62 Master Vans that were available for sale in Australia from 2 January 2018 to 31 December 2019. In these vehicles, the fuel hose could come into contact with the engine – this could lead to fuel hose wear and a fuel leak. If a fuel leak occurred, it could cause an engine fire, thereby posing a risk of injury to vehicle occupants and bystanders, and/or damage to property. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-001605.
2014-23 Renault X62 Master Van: fuel delivery pipe and potential fuel leak
In August 2024, recall campaign 0EC1 was issued for 2014-23 Renault X62 Master Van vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel delivery pipe may become damaged due to contact with the engine wiring harness. If this occurred, fuel could leak from the fuel delivery pipe and, in the presence of an external ignition source, a vehicle fire could result. For this recall, a Renault Australia dealer was to inspect and replace the fuel supply pipe. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-006057.
