2014-16 BMW I01 i3 REx: potential fuel vapour leak
In March 2017, a recall was issued for BMW i3 REx (Range Extender) vehicles that were available for sale in Australia from 1 July 2014 to 30 November 2016. The fuel tank ventilation line in these vehicles may not have been correctly located, such that it could rub against the vehicle and wear through. If this occurred, the fuel tank ventilation line may develop a leak and fuel vapour could be released into the atmosphere. For the VINs of the recalled BMW i3 REx vehicles, please see PRA 2017/15960.
