Released in 2009, the Proton CM Series III (CM.III) Gen.2 introduced a revised line-up, with the L-Line, M-Line and H-Line variants replaced by the G, GX and GXR, respectively. Standard safety equipment and features, however, were substantially the same for the three variant grades.
